This week, we discuss the new Final Cut of Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner. Only subtle but welcome changes from the 1992 Director’s Cut are evident, but the diehard Blade Runner fan will find they noticeably improve the film. Also, I discuss why I think the movie tanked at the box office in 1982 and if I think Rick Deckard is really a replicant.
Oh, yeah. The actor whose name I forget is the late Brion James.
First, news about a friend. Scott Nehring of Nehring the Edge is in the hospital with a heart attack. Our best wishes go out to him and his family.
Other than that, this week is just a quick preview of the coming New Media Expo and Podcamp Socal.
